In order to connect contemporary creation to the repertoire considered as classical in its broadest sense (from early music to the beginning of the 20th century), performers were asked to propose works of their choice that they simply wanted to play.
Composers have written pieces freely inspired by these works, in order to offer a contemporary rereading, in a spirit of transversality.
Such musical moments could be accompanied by literary, theatrical or dance performances, associated with plastic arts exhibitions or any other form of artistic expression.
In order to promote local talent, Multiphonic wishes to involve musicians from Moselle, Lorraine and the Grand Est who have followed a professional career in international orchestras as soloists, but also professionals from conservatories and music schools as well as great amateurs, thus offering them an additional opportunity to perform in a regular event.
